Becoming Mr. and Mrs. Guillen is something we have dreamed about, and we cannot wait to start this journey side by side. Most of all, we are so thankful to celebrate this moment surrounded by the people who mean the most to us — our family and friends! Our love story would not be complete without all of you, and we cannot wait to share this special day together.

Los Guillén ¡Hoy, mañana y siempre! Estamos muy emocionados de comenzar este nuevo capítulo de nuestras vidas juntos y construir un futuro lleno de amor, risas y nuevos comienzos. Convertirnos en el Sr. y la Sra. Guillén es algo con lo que hemos soñado, y estamos ansiosos por comenzar este viaje juntos. Our Story 

How We Met

From the very first moment Elaine and Danny laid eyes on each other, they just knew. They met when they least expected it — the kind of timing that only fate could plan. When Danny finally worked up the courage to approach her, Elaine didn’t hesitate. With her signature confidence, she looked at him and said, “Who are you? Why have we never met… and when are we getting married?” Danny simply smiled and blushed. In that moment, something shifted. They exchanged phone numbers, lingering eye contact, and smiles that said more than words ever could. There was an undeniable feeling of familiarity — as if they had known each other in another life and somehow found their way back. From their very first date, they both knew this was different. They laughed effortlessly, talked for hours, and neither of them wanted the night to end. The more they shared, the more they realized how similar their backgrounds were — their culture, their values, and their dreams. Everything just seemed to align. Danny, however, was always so nervous around Elaine. It took him over a month and five dates before he finally had the courage to give her their first kiss — like two kids with goosebumps.

Como nos Conocimos 

Desde el primer momento en que Elena y Daniel se vieron, simplemente lo supieron. Se conocieron cuando menos lo esperaban, en ese tipo de momento en el que solo el destino parece tener el control. Cuando Daniel finalmente reunió el valor para acercarse a ella, Elena no dudó. Con su característica confianza, lo miró y le dijo: ¿Quién eres? ¿Por qué nunca nos habíamos conocido... y cuándo es la boda? Daniel simplemente sonrió y se sonrojó. En ese momento, algo cambió entre ellos. Intercambiaron números de teléfono, miradas que se quedaban un poco más de lo normal y sonrisas que decían más que cualquier palabra.Había una sensación innegable de familiaridad, como si se hubieran conocido en otra vida y de alguna manera se hubieran vuelto a encontrar. Desde su primera cita, ambos supieron que esto era diferente. Se reían con facilidad, hablaban durante horas y ninguno quería que la noche terminara. Mientras más compartían, más se daban cuenta de lo similares que eran sus historias: su cultura, sus valores y sus sueños. Todo parecía alinearse perfectamente. Sin embargo, Daniel siempre se ponía muy nervioso cuando estaba con Elena. Le tomó más de un mes y cinco citas para armase de valor y darle su primer beso — un momento dulce y especial, como dos niños sintiendo mariposas por primera vez.

Proposal

Within the first couple of months of dating, Danny already knew Elaine was the one. He would often talk about how excited he was for the day he could propose. On their first Valentine’s Day together, Danny gave Elaine a promise ring to symbolize his commitment to forever. Six months later, that promise became a reality. Danny proposed on the beach in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. Elaine left for vacation as a girlfriend and returned as a fiancée. As the sun set by the ocean, Danny got down on one knee and said, “Remember when we met and you asked me when the wedding was?” Blushing and a little nervous, he then asked, “Will you marry me?” As Elaine excitedly said yes, fireworks lit up the sky behind them. What started as a bold question turned into a beautiful love story — and now they can’t wait to say, “I do!”

La Propuesta 

A los pocos meses de comenzar su relación, Daniel ya sabía que Elena era la indicada. A menudo hablaba de lo emocionado que estaba por el día en que podría pedirle matrimonio. En su primer Día de San Valentín juntos, Daniel le regaló a Elena un anillo de promesa como símbolo de su compromiso para siempre. Seis meses después, esa promesa se hizo realidad. Daniel le propuso matrimonio en la playa de Mazatlán, Sinaloa. Elena se fue de vacaciones siendo novia y regresó siendo prometida. Mientras el sol se ocultaba sobre el océano, Daniel se arrodilló frente a ella y le dijo: “¿Recuerdas cuando nos conocimos y me preguntaste cuándo sería la boda?” Sonrojado y un poco nervioso, le hizo la pregunta que cambiaría sus vidas: “¿Quieres casarte conmigo?” Cuando Elena respondió que sí, llena de emoción, fuegos artificiales iluminaron el cielo detrás de ellos. Lo que comenzó como una pregunta atrevida se convirtió en una hermosa historia de amor — y ahora no pueden esperar para decir “Sí, acepto!”
